Tiny tan worms in my bathroom

Please help me! I am finding, randomly, 3 inch long dried and dead, brownish-red worms in the girls’ bathroom. They are under their bath rug. They are hard to scrape off of the bathroom floor. They look like twigs. They do have horizontal ribbing on them. I am grossed out and am worried they are coming from my pet or children.
